My name is Kyle Niver. I'm currently a graduate student pursuing a Master's of Science in Elementary Education with Teaching Certification.
Going into the teaching profession, I believe that each child deserves a stimulating learning environment that supports a child's natural curiosity in learning. As a teacher, I will provide support, taking on the role of a guide in helping students come to their own conlcusions from the questions they come across in the classroom.
To help students stay engaged in their work, I believe in student-centered learning. In this, the curriculum has holes that allow students to add their own interests to develop a more meaningful learning environment.
Teaching and learning are lifelong processes that are continually changing and evolving. As a teacher I will be able to provide students with support along this journey and help them accomplish their goals in a nurturing, safe atmosphere.
